During this expedition, discover colorful bird species, fascinating mammals and many different insect species while walking in the dense, lush rainforest of the Osa Peåninsula. See endless plant and tree varieties, including the strangler tree, as well as local, medicinal plants. After an hour of walking, enjoy a cool dip in the water under a pristine waterfall, and try to find rare blue river shrimp. Pay close attention to any noises around you as you might see interesting animals. This zone is inhabited with four species of monkeys, along with the endangered red scarlet macaw, colorful frogs and much more.
